Guys, finally, I have the most HYPED phone from OnePlus here in my hand. Yes! OnePlus NORD, are you guys curious? Let's get started! Yo guys, back with me again, the spokesman-review. I'm so enthusiastic about today's blog because I've got the newest OnePlus Nord, the phone with a lot of hype all over the world In today's blog, I'm going to share the unboxing experience and my first impression of this phone. Alright, without further ado, wipe your drool first, and let's get to the unboxing blog. And this is it, Oneplus NORD's box I got this phone lent to me from Amazon only for unboxing so I have to return it later. So I can't be too rough while doing the unboxing. I've actually ordered the phone for myself and it will be delivered in mid-October. 

                                                                         



As you can see from the box Oneplus really put an effort in designing the box, there's this embossed writings which said: "Nord Nord Nord" and the Oneplus logo in the corner "Oneplus" is written on the right side, and "Oneplus Nord" written on the left side. Wow. And, as I can see here, there's a flap prepared to peel the plastic off. The last time I encounter this flap is when I was unboxing stuff from Apple, I kinda miss them. Okay, let's just peel the plastic off. The Oneplus Nord comes in 2 variants, the 128GB and the 256 GB of storage with the UFS 2.1 system. It comes in two colors, the one I have right now is Blue Marble, and the other one is Gray Onyx..




There are 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM. For those of you interested in this phone, I'll leave a link at the end of the blog, just check it out. Okay, let's open up the box. As you can see, written in the plastic wrapping, it says "this way Nord", perfect. Let's put this aside for a while, I'll take a peek at the phone, nice! What do we have here? There's nothing else here. And here we have a welcome letter a love letter from the Oneplus Nord team and then, we get a clear case the casing is made from silicon and quite elastic with this kind of triangle pattern. Pretty cool. Usually, in this envelope, we will get a manual book Wow, we get stickers. The unboxing experience is similar to Apple products with stickers. and the rest is the usual user manual, safety information, etc. 




We also get the sim ejector What else below that? There's this charging cable with USB-A to USB-C head, it's in the signature red color and there are the 30 watts warp charge charging adaptor. Oneplus claims that this adaptor could charge the phone from 0% to 70% in just half an hour. Let's put it all aside and check the phone out Tadaaa, this is it "This way Nord", and the placement of fingerprint scanner. Okay, let's open the plastic. Since this is a borrowed item, I have to be careful, can't be too rough. Can't squeeze the plastic too. So here it is! The screen size of this phone is 6.44 inches, Fluid AMOLED display and it's already equipped with 90 Hz screen refresh rate. The body is topped with corning gorilla glass 5 at the front and back sides. What else, the phone's frame is made from plastic. But it doesn't feel like a cheap phone it looks quite premium instead in my opinion.

                                                                            

On the right side, we have a power button and a slider to turn on and turn off the silent mode and vibrate mode On the left side, we have the volume button. There only the mic on the top side, nothing else and on the bottom side, there's the dual sim card slot, another mic, USB-C port, and the mono speaker. There's no 3.5 mm headphone jack here. But I'm not worried about it since I have this right here! Google Pixel Buds, wireless earbuds, super cool. I've made a blog about this, just check it out. And the sound, humor, perfect With OxygenOS 10.5 as the operating system, I feel that the UI is pretty neat and clean Plus with the 90hz refresh rate makes this phone feels so smooth and responsive. The chipset of this phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G (7nm) which supports 5G, pretty cool right? What else, the battery capacity of this phone is 4115 mAh.





I think this is sufficient, even if this is not the highest battery capacity but this is up to par with today's competition. My gaming experience with Oneplus Nord is quite enjoyable. I've tried playing PUBG the highest graphic setting could be set to HD High or smooth ultra. So far there's no lag or frame drop at all, everything runs smoothly. And what about the camera? Okay, we have a quad-camera setup for the rear camera the main camera is the same as the one in Oneplus 8, 48 MP equipped with a Sony IMX586 sensor the plus point is the phone comes with an optical image stabilization. The rest of the lenses consists of an 8MP ultrawide lens a 5MP depth lens and a 2MP macro lens. This phone has 2 front cameras a main wide 32 MP lens and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Do you know what's so special about the front camera? It can record videos in 4K and not just 30 fps, but also 60 fps. 




One more thing, the phone also comes with a night mode called Nightscape. What do you think? Is it good? Right now the footage is taken using Oneplus Nord's ultra-wide front camera. The angle is pretty wide, quiet nice. I'm testing the rear camera right now while also testing the image stabilization. I'll try running now. Wow, pretty good Okay.

CONCLUSION

My first impression of this phone is quite positive it's comfortable to hold, not too heavy and it looks like a premium phone. Especially this Blue Marble color it looks super cool for the mid-range price point plus the phone's performance is good.
